The Importance of Speed in Hiring

Many managers will tolerate a bad apple in the team. But if that person's toxic, but has really good skills, it can be even more difficult to fire them. This is a real conundrum, because we see this all the time in organizations. And so I think the All Blacks had the right idea there. You really want to work hard. And if you do make a mistake, you want to fix it decisively. Absolutely.
