He lined the house with gold, its beams, its thresholds, its walls and its doors. He overlaid it on the inside with pure gold. The nave, he lined with cypress and covered it with fine gold. And he adorned the house with settings of precious stones. So here we are at the end of David's life - yesterday was his last day. But these are final words that he gives to his son solomon: 'There is a couple of things to pay attention to'
