An opportunity not seized is a problem, right? I mean, that's the way i think bout it us. You need an objective function in order to run a linear programme and figure out what to optimize. So start from the customer, go to gap, and then start asking the question, what different choices could we make to cause that gap to go away? That will allow you to prioritiz and do everything else, and then build enabling management systems.
