I think that by using popular culture as a language, so I would like to think about the term vernacular, especially in Bombay. We wanted to create a vernacular of sexuality, which is Indian and which is multiple. The learnings along the ways that you have to co-create language, sometimes there isn't words for certain things. And very often there are words that are not used in the way like an English word becomes the norm for talking about sexuality. So lesbian will be the word that we will use, even though lesbian is not a word that everybody wants to use for themselves.
