The Inflection Point in Lean Body Mass Accretion

A study by tagawa and colleagues looked at dose response relationships between protein in and the increase in lean body mass, or muscle mass. The idea is that when you increase from a low protein intake to a moderate protein intake, we expect some pretty notable improvements. And so there as a paper in two thousand 18 by morton and colleagues, that said that inflection point was probably at about one point six graham's per kilogram. In this study, they had a number of different figures with different co-variates and stuff included, but it looked like somewhere between one point three to one point five ish.
