What Happens on Surfaces?

The chemical make up of a surface will be important if we're looking at things like adhesion. The physical structures or the roughness or any, the presence of any bumps or crevices that will have an impact on how surfaces bond. What happens on surfaces defines how those surfaces interact with the world. So i really wanted to kind of make people realize that so much interesting science and so many interesting phenomena happen on and between surfaces.
