I would say it's a necessary excuse, because we're not educating ourselves on the culture. I have not been in a country in the world out of about 90 where i haven't found people who want what we have in america. Democracy has to be behavior before it can be a government. And that's a qnessential part of being able to understand the culture. They may not do it like us, but they're still doing it, and we need to support them.
