The Fallacy of Special Pleading

A critical sinker in general should focus on specific behaviors and ideas. Equivocation fallacies are characterized by using the same term different ways. Special pleading is a fallacy that refers to an instance that the arguer would ask for an exception to the rule in regards to a specific premise. Asking to change the rules when a premise is shown to be faulty doesn't make the premise any stronger.
