What's the CEO Confidence Index?
The VISTage CEO confidence index has moved 20 points up or down in the last two years. In Q2 of 2020, at the bottom of the pandemic, right? Confidence index was at 65.5, one of the all-time lowest scores we've ever had. 12 months later, Q2 2021, it's at 108.8. And Q2 of 2022, we're back down to 69 level lowest Scores we've seen. So I think what we'll see, I think confidence is at a low right now and it's driven dominantly by fears of inflation. The only thing you have completely control over is the workplace," he says.
