At the core, it's trust. Banks are highly leveraged. And if households and businesses really get spooked and pull their money from banks, it would be an incredible catastrophe. Fortunately, we're not there yet. There seems to be at least enough trust for now. But as I've said in numerous episodes, that if households, businesses, investors, lost confidence in the Federal Reserve, the central bank, then you really see the potential for hyperinflation.
