The European Union Is Disintegrating.

You and I witnessed the launch of DM, the political party in Berlin, some years back. You've always felt that Europe needs a pan-left movement. Do you still maintain that? Because it was a very exciting time in Berlin. It's extremely exciting. But it has to be done. The European Union is disintegrating. There will not be another Brexit because we saw what happened without it. We need transnational progressive politics. And what we have now is a guaranteed process of disintegration. Everybody does whatever they want now. State aid here, state aid there. Spain tries to introduce a windfall tax on banks,. Greece doesn't, Germany doesn't.
