An i d e is an in rated development environment and can be real handy. My web server out in the cloud was getting old, cranky and needing to be retired like me. I decided to simplify my life by just using version eight of ph p instead of running three different versions which were five, seven and eight. That sounds great in all but p hp eight does break older code. Code that was written correctly in version five and acceptable in version seven suddenly didn't work at all in ph p 8.
