The Parody of Academicism

A lot of different things feel very familiar, think about knowledge and information and we'll get to that soon. The parody of academia and the parody of hyperspecialization and the sort of self importance that a certain sort of academic can can take on struck me as particularly funny and interesting. I found it like hilariously funny even reading it back then I remember laughing out loud multiple occasions reading it again. It is also an interesting experiment and I think it works that there are some things  that could pretty much basically happen in America and maybe a few other places but not to this degree.
