The worker spends its days flying out into the world to locate, gather and bring back all things honey bee colonies need to prosper. They'll continue to forage until their bodies give out at around six weeks old. In many hives, they'll actually cover the interior side of the exterior of the hive, almost entirely in propolis if they can.
