The Story of Raj Deswani

Raj Deswani was in the Sinner province in Karachi and he would sit on his terrace. He'd put Crit India leaflets all around the city, but never for a second thought that that would mean that he would have to leave his land. His family as Hindus decided to leave when it became too difficult for them to stay there. When he went back in 1992 after 12 years of refugee life, he stood outside the terrace where he had sat under the moon with friend Yasmin. But she never got married; he felt he let her down so took another marriage while she didn't.
