Is There a Difference Between Childhood and Adulthood?
In hunter gatherer societies, when someone goes from being a child to an adult, both for men and women. In many of them, they receive a new name, and there's a a separation from the group. And m they're expected to behave differently. It just strikes me how we do we we let children continue to be children right through their lives in a way which, as you say, laves them very vulnerable.
