An early hero outlaw was a man named redmond o'hanlin. Born around 16, he was the stereo typical gentleman, robber and thief. But for him, a life of crime seems to have been personal. His family had been wronged, and the english had to pay. True to most stories about heroic outlaws, o'hanlan's end came at the hand of an insider. One of his own gang of men got greedy during a planned robbery on a group of travelling merchants,. The entire group of bandits had hidden themselves in the trees along the road, but before they could attack, the traitor in their midst shot o'hanli and left with his head as proof
