The Madisonian Ideal of General Incorporation

As america grew, it turned out that special incorporation of the kind that the british crown had been involved in the east india trading company was a real impediment to the madisonian ideal. To fix that, while still having such a thing as corporations, we move toward this general incorporation idea. And the states started moving to this in the 19 century for exactly the reasonthat we've now been talking about at length. If you don't do that, you create the opportunity for graft, and you create the poison that will destroy and pervert madison's idea of healthy faction.
