Thessalonica - A Synagogue
Thessalonica was a free city, its inhabitants would have been very nervous about losing its privileged status. Any whiff of sedition would have been extremely troubling to the authorities. Jason courageously suffers on behalf the missionaries and on behalf of christ. Many christians have described themselves as barians on account of their commitment to confirming every teaching that they receive from the scriptures. How might closer attention to the situation of the brians help us to follow their noble example even more closely?
