Northern Ireland - What's Your Sense of the Storm Break?

The DUP and ERG's single biggest objection to the protocol is that EU law applied in Northern Ireland. So under the storm break, any new regulations or updates of existing law can be blocked by 30 members out of 90 assembly seats. Now, once they decide that EU rule is something that they don't want, that law will be displayed automatically. Then the UK government has a veto to make that permanent.
