How Much Is India's External Debt?
India's short-term debt is around, I would say, US dollar, $120 billion. And even in the external debt of $6.20 billion, around 20% of the debt is short-term in danger. But having said that, we also have to be conscious of the extreme volatility that we are seeing in the forex market. If the pace of depletion goes on at this pace, then could be trouble going forward but right now, we are not in a very dangerous zone.
