The first two minutes of a service are two of the most important minutes of the service. Many people wark into church expecting to get a peptarc, or maybe even a tongue lashing,. A exhausted, weary, defeated sinners don't need cheer leading and they din't need scolding. If if the service starts off on the wrong note, then you're already having barriers by the time you get up to preach. So it elly, i strongly agree, it really matters thos first two minutes, the tone that the pastor sets.
