The Arizona Cardinals and the 49ers Trade

The Houston Jackson had the 12 overall pick and they move up to number three. And it's basically the same trade that the 49ers made with Miami two years earlier for Trey Lance. The difference was that trade happened a month before the draft. This one happens like as they're on the clock, which I'm sure they already arranged this in the sense that you know, if depending on how that first pick went or whatever else,. But Houston comes out of it with CJ Stroud and Will Anderson, the defensive end at picks two and three. So Arizona got an offensive tackle, Paris Johnson from Ohio State who's going to face off against another Ohio State alum, Nick Bosa.
