Is Democracy on Its Heels?

It's not hard to tell a reasonable story that would say whatever level of incumbency reelection rates we observe is evidence of democracy being on its heels or democracy flourishing. It could be about you know massive instability and a highly factualized country where people rise up they claim the exercise all kinds of authority while they can but then there's a revolt. How do we know these are trends I think that's a good question. We don't know okay you're right. It feels like these are trends but these are trends for us because we are at the stage in our lives where we are paying attention so on  and the latest news is really important for us.
