The Anechoic Chamber
An anechoic chamber's design is to reduce the amount of sound to just as absolute, close to absolute zero as possible. It's used for scientific testing to see if components vibrate or if they can catch things that maybe they couldn't hear in a noisier environment. "I could really truly hear the earth and its movement go away," says Rebecca Nill who has cochlear implant.
