Is There a Reshoring of Manufacturing in Europe?
The risk for recession in Europe and the risk of having the overall industrial parathos that some of the more successful areas have based on, especially in Germany, I'm referring to at stake. If there is a sort of a reshoring in that sense, then it will mean differential consequences for Germany and for the European periphery where they outsource their production. But let me make one comment about the trade unions. It's very important that trade unionism and the rise of the unionization goes together with an increased involvement of the state. And if there is a proper and wise government regulation for that, then there can be a good solution from it.
