How to Manage Your Boss
i've written four books before, and they were all technical. But i wanted to build a talk for people in business and industry on how to work with their boss. Your best ally is your manager inside an organization; if that relationship has problems, you're going to have problems. What managers want and what we want overlaps, but it's not identical. One is that conflict is inevitable, so you might as well plan for it. And two is that it's possible to come up with solutions and satisfy both sides.
