The effect sizes were way larger than you'd think. The confusing thing about that study is that all three heads of the triceps grew more when only one of them is actually crossing the shoulder and thus influenced by shoulder position in terms of length. I'm more than willing to just put that down to a sort of type 1 error, like a false positive. Like with relatively small sample studies, you'll see type 1 errors fairly often.
