Rachel's Music for Egon Sheila and C in the Bells

Egon Sheila and C in the Bells both came out in 1996. I think one of the first things that I immediately think of with these both of these records is the extremely vivid imagery and kind of high concept themes used as ways of storytelling. It's sort of in some ways links a little bit back to Peter and the Wolf. But it was just a little bit different coming from the local punk music scene, underground punk scene. They were like hanging out with your next door neighbours talking to them.
