Public opinion is definitely on the Liberals' side here in terms of invoking the act. Some of what peer polly have is arguing for less intrusion from government. There was a lot of COVID fatigue at the time, and it manifested itself on the streets. The regular people that came out were fed up with governments telling them what to do.
