If you become very aware of impermanence and a femoral nature of all experience,. it can feel like everything's being taken from you. And therefore it's very important to be aware of the arising. Pay attention of what is arising alongside what is passing away. She says as you do increasingly rest in the middle of that, you start to rest in the standing wave in the eternal now where things arise and pass away.
