The History of Wrapped Prompts in Chatbots

When you say wrapped prompt, what does that actually mean? So if you send a message to OpenAI saying, how many legs does a cat have, it'll say a cat has four legs. If I wrap that would say, answer the following question, like a pirate and then take the user input. And so the wraps are the wrapper is the answer like a pirate part got it. That's when I first heard the term about using kind of vector embeddings to like monitor, but this is before the chat completion. It was also around the same time that kind of LengChain Lama Index, which is now called GPT Index.
