The first critical break that typically happens within a lot of partnerships organizations is trying to separate BD from partner management. At Shripe we eventually kind of split out those functions and said we were going to hire a kind of partner managers and BD folks. I think the way that I look at my role now at notion is one in which there aren't necessarily roles that are off limitsI can hire technical people I can hire business folks whatever kind of makes sense, he says.
