Why I Don't Invest in Oil and Gas Companies
When the majors sell oil and gas projects, who are they selling to? It varies. So I'm investing in some companies that have bought projects from larger producers. And where I've seen exploration companies be successful, there's generally been a whole sort of like crowd of engineers and geologists speculating on it. They know it's risky, but they're gambling on it with their money because on a risk adjusted basis, they think it's very promising. The push to divest is dying down a bit; But the push to cut new investment is pretty strong.
