In 2016 you read this one paper that like sort of radically changed the way you approached everything. The article in question was why DEI programs fail by Frank Dobbins and Alexandra Kaleff to sociologists. And essentially what they found is that tracking the long term impact of the most popular DEI initiatives had a net negative effect on the overall representation of marginalized communities.
