Meditation - Is There a Single Taste to Everything?
In meditation, in many respects, that begins to break down. What you're noticing is a cores of sameness to every experience. And so the distinctness of an experience isn't what is so salient. It's the unchanging quality of consciousness in its openness and vividness. The tibet and buddhist talk about one taste being that there's basicallythere's a single taste to everything when you really pay attention. So i don't know if that just sounds like an explosion of gibberish to you, but it's a way in which it begins to knot map on to what i'm describing as some of the clearest moments of consciousness.
