The Story of the Nativity Fascade
Galde was a sculptor as much as an architect, and the wall would be full of stone sculptures depicting biblical scenes. The facade became crowded and cluttered and teeming with life. And it featured hundreds of celestial and earthly creatures, little snails crawling all over it and tortoises. Gaudee also tried making plaster moulds from live human beings. He actually tried to do with one of his workers, but he almost killed him and decided that maybe that wasn't the best way forward.
