I think people are basically coming to the conclusion that internal reform is impossible. The only thing ahead of them is really for a complete transformation of the state, and therefore they view it as revolutionary. So it's an attempted revolution at this point. My assumption always was that the government would end up doing something pretty stupid which would trigger something. I mean, the level of poverty is extraordinary. And the poor really have nothing to lose anymore.
