I get asked that question literally often. What good is Python for? Is this just like kind of like a better scripting language rather than bash? Yeah, my first impression was that too, but it was clearly wrong. I think one of those common ways is people see Python so simple doing things so simply. And they think, oh, well, this is so simple. It must not be a real language.
