Malthus, Keynes, Marx and Darwin are all deeply rooted in our educational framework. This is important because that's where most of our leaders have grown up intellectually. We need to be very clear about the roots of these ideologies for us to extricate ourselves. It's either science is right or politics is right; if politics is driven by the leaders we have now, they're certainly not right. And so... Self-serving, narcissistic, wishful thinking that comes along with the privilege that's always what criticized. But there is hope, as there was before: There is a body of texts that says humanity is just that - human.
