Being water was a tactic used during the hong kong uprising. It derives its name from a famous bruce lee quote that activists re purposed as guide for how to move in situations where police are chasing you. The quote reads like this, be like water making its way through the cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find your way around it or through it. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward, things will disclose themselves. Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless, like water. Now, water can flow, or it can crash. Be water, my friend.
