The accepted methodologies for projecting future traffic are flawed. The model assumes a very small number of people will be using transit because more aggressive assumptions or policies honestly haven't been integrated into the model so that model is always going to tell you that traffic demand on the interstate is going to go up even though it's very obviously been going down right? "If 40 000 people in america weren't being killed by cars every year it would be funny i don't know well me actually answer this a little bit differently because i'm talking about models and stuff yeah"
