How to Set Up a Partnership and Equity Agreement
I don't love the idea of people getting offered a partnership and equity that's a minimum five or 10%. So I would probably be looking at, for example, in the partnership agreement, can we have some runway of increased equity and ownership over time? Now for example, the agreement might be that we'll pay you 90 or 100 grand, whatever the market rates, pharmacist is. And then any profit, it's sweat equity type of thing. But effectively, you'll be fine in terms of your income. That's not the issue. I really think the issue is getting the partnership and your business entity set up correctly from day one.
