The Right Will Regret the Loss of Affirmative Action

I think we've talked about whether or not the right will come to regret the loss of affirmative action as it is if we move toward a pure testing model. We should maybe think harder about having how we can make elite forming institutions that are more than adapted to a democratic culture. I totally agree with your idea of national universities, highly selective, national universities, for elite formation that are responsive to political pressure. It's just a lot healthier in a democracy.
