Theranos and Homes - A Case Study
Theranos ran over 40 testing centers in Walgreens stores and only four non-Walgreens testing centers within the Phoenix area. Theranos agreed to pay back $4.65 million as part of a settlement deal. The more that was revealed about Theranos, the worse Walgreens looked for basically failing to do any due diligence about Theranos in the first place. A year after the encounter in 2012, two executives and Paul Rust, a retired Quest Diagnostics Executive, went on a trip to review Theranos' quality control data.
