The Value of Automation in Delegation
The key to getting better at delegating is to figure out how to de risk the request. Making it just reducing the scope of what it is you need done and increasing visibility, where you can now build confidence that they're doing it correctly or doing it completely in parallel. It's really important to recognize the value of automation. This is maybe a semantic distinction, but I'm talking about automation versus delegation. There's a lot of what the EA is do for me certainly the highest leverage things for me would really fall into the automation camp. And so this is my first time actually being successful with it.
