When there's a phrase like, we're like a family, howere job seekers reading that kind of terminology? One of the interpretations is that you're going to sort of be subject to verbal abuse. We saw in one survey that like a family quadrupled in use. On the fliff side of that, companies, theyre trying to convey that we're an atmosphere where people get along. When someone encounters terms like these, it doesn't mean that you should just not apply at all. It gives you an opportunity to sit down wih the interviewer and ask about those terms,. Or doing your own home work on social media and web sites like like fish bowl or glass store.
