Socratic Seminar - Can You Just Ask a Question?
It's actually really hard for a lot of my students because they're like, wait, you want me to just ask a question? And usually when I give them an example, they try to answer my example question. No, you're supposed to write the question. So I teach them that skill of, could it be that as a sentence starter? Because back to that expansive knowledge thing, I don't want to solidify their thinking into little factoidal pieces of information.
