In terms of primary care networks, NHS England said there's no new service specifications in the coming year. The cap on the number of mental health practitioners that network has been recruit has been removed as well. Patient access to prospective records is definitely going ahead from October this year and it will cover all patients and all practices - unless patients themselves have opted out. GP unions want a ballot soon to test GP's appetite for industrial action. Action could take a number of forms, withdrawal from PCNs, which LMCs have already voted for,. And something that an indicative ballot about 15 months ago suggested more than half of practices were prepared to do was one option.
