David Murrah is a Minneapolis-based writer, critic, poet and playwright. His new book focuses on the role of whiteness in American narratives. He says it's an ideology that helps maintain white supremacy over people of color. "White America is fine with telling the tale of our history through the pursuit of equality," he says.
